Hey family and friends everything is going great and changes are tomorrow, but to start i am going to answer your questions. The temple is almost done on the outside their doing the crowning of the angel moroni this FRIDAY!!! I wanna go so bad but im not sure if im still going to be in xela but we´ll see how changes go. I havent got the box yet i have to wait for mission conference to see if i get it. I dont have any pictures this week but im glad you like the pictures i send and i like it when you send me pictures.Yes i get all of grandpa´s letters and i love them but again i have to wait for mission conferences to recieve them. The KIDS here there awesome i love the kids in my branch it makes me feel at home, i really hope i dont get changed it would suck really bad to leave family again..... anyways the kids love me i dont know if its just cause im white or what but they love to be around me, which brings me to a story- So we were visiting our brach presidents house president mendez and he has 4 little kids, well the story is every time we visited him his kids loved to borrow my little flashlight that dad gave me as a gift, i dont know if you remember it, its the little L shaped one thats pretty much indestructible. Well they found a way to destroy it, the little girl ripped the little rubber top off and put super glue down inside it to try and fix it by superglueing the rubber piece back on but all she did was end up frying the whole thing. Point of this story is Dont EVER let guatemalan people borrow your things! But its all good, I do have a huge favor to ask though. Please send me a new one! it was the best light in the whole world and im dying without it cause they dont have street lights in this country. Well thats my story for the week and as far as the guitar thing goes yea id love to pick up a guitar while im down here and my comp said he bought his for 600 quetz with a case and tuner and everything so thats like almost 100 bucks haha cheapest christmas ever!! Anyways love you family And ill talk to you next week!! Love Elder Johnson

Working hard
Ok so this week flew by i honestly dont even remember what happened. We busted our butts so hard all week long to find people to teach for the next month, but changes are next week and i dont know if i´ll still be in my area so we´ll have to find out. OH!!!! I finally got a letter saying my package is in guatemala city and i had a citation on it so i had to pay taxes it was 100 quetz in taxes so that was pretty lame but im stoked its finally coming to me.Anyways I also got letters from Ann Mcdonough, Grandpa Davis, Amanda, and yea thats it so if you could tell ann thanks and grandpa and grandma thanks for the letters i would appericiate it, and tell them i miss them. Oh i almost forgot i gave my first talk in the field this past sunday it was on -la unidad en la familia y como una rama y la relacion los miembros necesitamos tener con los missioneros- now in english....... -My talk was on unity in the family and as a branch and the relationship the members need to have with the missionaries. Anyways i've been thinking about the family alot and i sure miss you but i love it on the mission, hope you enjoy the pictures i sent. Love you Elder Johnson

One more thing
Oh one more thing, this Wednesday is the independence of guatemala so its gonna be crazy!!!!! Anyways Love you family and tell my babies i say Hi, i miss them so much!! were teaching this family and they have this little girl thats turning 2 years old and she reminds me of my nieces. I´m sure jackson is the cuttest thing in the whole world but i didnt really get to know him that well, which makes me really sad but i have plenty of time to get to know him when i get home. Love You Family
New talent
Hey family, not much happened this week. There's aton of new rules in the mission that are really making us angry. Its just our mission president trying to punish us because our whole mission only baptized 6 the last month and he´s mad at us even though me and my comp were 3 of the 6 baptisms. Whatever though im just gonna listen and suck it up. Well enough of me complaining. Im learning how to play the guitar as you can see from the picture and we had the prettiest sunset ever but as you know pictures don't do justice for sunsets. I really wish i had dad´s camera down here. Tell Jason i say happy birthday and tell him he´s old! Anyways Im trying hard to stay positive and If you wanna here my spanish you´ll have to wait for christmas I´m picking it up pretty quickly and im doing great. I Love you family and looks like your doing great. Elder Johnson

Hey family, OK well first off yea there has been more disasters here in Guatemala, its the wet season now and it just dumps rain every day here its ridiculous all 4 pairs of my shoes are soaked but its all good. So i have a really cool story for Jason Johnson:So my neighbor that lives above me is our branch secretary his name is David Gutierrez and he had us over one night and i was flipping though photos of him on his mission and i was about half way through his photo album and to my surprise i see a picture of him and what do you know JASON is in the picture hahahahaha David served his mission the same time and same mission as Jason and they were in the same zone, David was companions with Frankie, and i knew it was Frankie cause of his red hair. But yea that's my crazy story of the week. My spiritual story of the week is we re-activated a family of 8 people who have a kid on a mission right now!!!! The family loves us now and the dad always gives us hugs.... he is truly grateful for our help. We also teach one of their older boys English its really cool. I have an extremely crazy story for ya´ll but it is gonna have to wait cause i don't wanna jinks anything. I hope you guys like the stories i send you and can you believe i have 4 months now!!! Well until next week. Love Elder Johnson
